This is some of the most exciting material I’ve had in a long time… a gorgeous lot of blue-green chrysocolla / shattuckite from Namibia. A good portion of this chrysocolla is heavily silicated, meaning that it is more stable than most chrysocolla, and takes an even stronger and more beautiful shine. I can’t guarantee that the pieces you get will be silicated, but I would say there is a very high chance!

Why do I call it Chrysocolla / Shattuckite? Well, it is a mixture of Chrysacolla, with a little Azurite, Malachite, Shattuckite and occasional other Copper Minerals. All of it, regardless of the percentage of each of those minerals, will make exquisite jewellery cutting material. This is some lovely slicing material..it doesn’t get much better than this!

Please note that most remaining pieces are fist sized or smaller. These actually have the potential for the best color and pattern, but if you are buying to resale for slabbing then check with me before purchasing.
